ABSTRACT
The effect of some sensitive operation parameters on the performance of ozone contactor has been studied and discussed for the effective application of ozone in drinking water treatment process. An overall ozone mass transfer model equation coupled with kinetic constant k and hydrodynamic parameters - the member J of reactor (CSTR) has been proposed for future application. This model enable us to predict the dissolved ozone profiles, the inlet and outlet concentrations of liquid and gas, and the design and the operational variables can be optimized using this approach.
